High & Dry
A leaking rooftop was reimagined into a durable, low-maintenance deck system with ipe details, stainless steel railings, and improved drainage.
When this custom home’s roof began leaking in multiple areas, it was clear the problem needed more than a quick patch. We removed the old roof decks to expose and repair the damage, then rebuilt them with lasting strength and modern appeal.
The new design features a Bison pedestal system, with deck panels that can be lifted for seasonal cleaning and easy access. Reclaimed wood was blended with new ipe decking for a rich finish, while failing parapet walls were replaced with a mix of stainless steel cables and ipe railings.
To prevent future water issues, we sealed the exterior stucco and added a copper drip edge to improve drainage. The result is a rooftop that’s not only watertight but also beautiful—a functional outdoor space built to last.
